Providing damages expert witness services in transportation cases.
Our team can provide expert guidance quantifying losses and assessing accounting and financial issues on a wide range of transportation projects, all typically high-value and high-profile.
We have acted in competition matters and before many of the main arbitral organisations. Our experts have worked on disputes around the globe in relation to airports, bridges, rail systems, roads and tunnels, as well as related infrastructure.
Our recent cases include:
- Submitted an expert report to the Competition Appeal Tribunal on behalf of a company defending a claim for damages for abusing its dominant position in a local transport market.
- Acted as the tribunal appointed expert and gave evidence in an ICC arbitration concerning the trucking sector in a Middle Eastern country.
- Expert adviser in a dispute between a domestic airline and a global airline where it was alleged the global airline abused its position to put the domestic airline out of business through uneconomically low fares on the relevant routes in the UK.
- Oral evidence on behalf of the Claimant in a LCIA arbitration. The case involved assessing damages due to alleged breach of warranties, and valuation of a company in excess of USD 100 million in the logistics sector, in the CIS region.
