Paul is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the valuation of businesses, projects and shares. Prior to specialising in forensic work, Paul had a successful career in financial markets where he held senior positions in equity research and corporate finance at several top-tier investment banks.

As an equity analyst in London for 15 years, Paul advised many of the world’s largest professional investors on the valuation of listed companies. He also advised members of the Board of Directors of large international companies, including several listed on the FTSE-100 index, on corporate strategy and investor relations.

Paul has experience of valuing businesses across both developed and emerging markets. His valuations have involved visiting management teams, investors, projects and assets across Europe, Africa, the CIS region, South America, North America, Asia and Australia.

Paul has valued companies across a wide range of industries including metals and mining, oil and gas, travel and tourism, hospitality, capital goods, consumer goods, healthcare, financial services, computer hardware, renewable energy, and utilities.

He has been involved in disputes relating to claims for breach of warranty, breach of fiduciary duty, the valuation of intellectual property, the valuation of businesses and shares, matrimonial disputes, contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, and in disputes arising out of transactions.

Paul holds an economics degree from Cambridge University. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of its Valuation, and Forensic and Expert Witness Communities.
